Dear Volunteers,

Hunger is a daily struggle for many families in rural South Africa. For those facing food poverty, a simple bowl of soup can provide much-needed nourishment and comfort. You have the power to make a real difference in their lives.

Our volunteering organization is launching a Soup Pack Drive to provide essential ingredients for nutritious, homemade soups. By donating dry soup packs containing lentils, rice, dried vegetables, soup mix, and stock cubes, you can help ensure that struggling families have access to warm and healthy meals.

How Can You Help?

• Donate pre-packed dry soup ingredients at our collection points.
  • 12 Soup Packs +
  • 2 box stock Cubes +
  • 6 packets of lentils or bean mix
• Encourage your friends, family, and classmates to contribute.
• Organize a mini soup pack drive in your community.

For every soup pack as specifies above you donate, you will earn 1.5 hours of service—a simple act of kindness with a profound impact!

By participating in this initiative, you are not just earning service hours; you are helping to fight hunger and bring warmth and nourishment to families in need. Your generosity will provide them with a hearty meal, hope, and the strength to face another day.

What to do next.

Once you’ve collected everything and it meets the donation requirements,

• Book your donation on the site.
• Download and fill in the delivery note so you can keep track. https://volunteernow.co.za/download-delivery-note/
• Snap a photo of your donation for your LO portfolio,
• Drop it off at the collection point with the delivery note, call before to arrange a convenient time, then
• Upload your proof of delivery and book your hours.

 Please note: Verified hours are awarded based on the value of goods or services donated, calculated at R250 per hour.
