The need for Dignity Bags over the holiday season is immense.

Every month, more people in South Africa are affected by gender-based violence (GBV). For individuals who escape abusive or toxic relationships, the journey to recovery is often overwhelming. Many are left with nothing after fleeing their abuser

You can make a tangible difference by donating a Dignity Bag, which provides essential hygiene items to those in need. Even one pack can go a long way in helping someone regain a sense of dignity and normalcy during this difficult time.

WOMEN’S DIGNITY PACK:

• 1 packet of sanitary pads
• 1 x 500ml Dettol
• 1 x body cream
• 1 x deodorant
• 1 tube of toothpaste
• 1 toothbrush
• 1 facecloth
• 1comb
• 1 soap
• 1 pair of socks

MEN’S DIGNITY PACK:

• 1 x 500ml Dettol
• 1 x body cream
• 1 x deodorant
• 1 tube of toothpaste
• 1 toothbrush
• 1 facecloth
• 1comb
• 1 soap
• 1 pair of socks

Earn 1,5 Volunteer Service Hours for each dignity pack you donate. Your contribution will impact the lives of those who need it most this holiday season.

What to do next.

Once you’ve collected everything and it meets the donation requirements,

• Book your donation on the site.
• Download and fill in the delivery note so you can keep track. https://volunteernow.co.za/download-delivery-note/
• Snap a photo of your donation for your LO portfolio,
• Drop it off at the collection point with the delivery note, call before to arrange a convenient time, then
• Upload your proof of delivery and book your hours.

 Please note: Verified hours are awarded based on the value of goods or services donated, calculated at R250 per hour.
