Description:
Help young learners grasp the concept of counting in units by making this hands-on educational aid! Your handmade number sets will support foundational math learning in classrooms and learning centers.

What You’ll Need:

• 5 different colors of board
• 1 black marker pen
• A pair of scissors
• A ruler
• Adhesive plastic school book covering OR a laminator

How to Make the Project:

1. Cut the Cards:

   • White number units: 5cm x 5cm (4 sets of numbers 1-9)
   • Single unit cards (light green in the example image): 8cm x 5cm (10 cards)
   • Ten-unit cards (light blue in the example image): 8cm x 5cm (10 cards)
   • Hundred-unit cards (orange in the example image): 8cm x 5cm (10 cards)
   • Thousand-unit cards (green in the example image): 8cm x 5cm (10 cards)

2. Write the Numbers Clearly on each card in bold black marker.

3. Laminate or Cover all cards with adhesive plastic to make them durable.

4. Sort & Package:

   • Group each set of numbers with an elastic band.
   • Print a copy of the activity picture for reference.
   • Place all materials into a clear Ziplock bag.

5. Mark Your Donation:

   • Clearly write your name and school on the package.
