Animal welfare is the well-being of non-human animals. Here you will find volunteering opportunities to support organisations that look after the need and rights of animals.

Many are creating sustainable solutions for animals in need. Treating animals with respect and empathy. We must act now.

We use the term “animal organisations” fairly loosely – as well as animal rescue, they also cover things such as conservation, wildlife protection etc.

Many will be involved in animal welfare – the SPCA in various town for instance – while others have a different reason for being.
