Sweet Service: Bake a Birthday Cake or Cupcakes for Joy!

Do you love to bake? Turn your talent into service by providing a beautifully crafted birthday treat for someone in need. These donations bring much-needed joy and celebration to individuals facing difficult circumstances.

We are seeking volunteers to create and donate a delightful birthday confection, which must be fully baked, ready-to-eat, and beautifully decorated to make the recipient feel extra special.

🎂 The Task: Choose Your Treat

You can choose one of the following options to qualify:

1. A Full Birthday Cake: One cake of standard size (e.g., 8-inch round or 9×13 sheet cake).
2. Cupcake Batch: 20 standard-sized cupcakes.

1 completed and decorated Cake OR 20 Cupcakes = 2 Service Hours

You can choose your favourite recipe and decorate it beautifully You can even add candles!

What to do next.

Once you’ve collected everything and it meets the donation requirements,

• Book your donation on the site.
• Download and fill in the delivery note so you can keep track. https://volunteernow.co.za/download-delivery-note/
• Snap a photo of your donation for your LO portfolio,
• Drop it off at the collection point with the delivery note, call before to arrange a convenient time, then
• Upload your proof of delivery and book your hours.

 Please note: Verified hours are awarded based on the value of goods or services donated, calculated at R250 per hour.
